A Victorian gold amethyst brooch, an oval mixed cut amethyst with six triangular claws and a plain gallery, with safety chain, 'C' catch and metal pin, marked 9c, 30 x 20mm, 8.97g Condition report: Some very minor nibbles to crown facet junctions of amethyst, visible under 10x magnification, not easily visible with the naked eye. Tarnish/surface marks to gold. Pin slightly loose. Amethyst a little dirty around the gallery, would benefit from being cleaned.
