Pair of antique , Chinese, bone and antler, decorative ceremonial vases, depicting Guanyin, sitting under a pavilion. The pavilion is mounted with an elixir bottle, representing the heaven, and 5 dragons, coming down from the top. The 2 pavilions, of both vases, are placed on the vase structure, on the 2 sides, depicting officials scepters, symbolizing authorities. To the front of vase 1, central medallion, depicting 2 warrior.One of them riding a horse. The upper medallion depicting 2 heavenly guardians, the lower one- a flute. Above the scepters: on one side a deer, the other -a crane, symbolizing longevity. At the back of the vase, central medallion depicting peonies with 2 bears. Above them 2 guardians. Below them flowers, a medallion with a basket of flowers. The other vase , main medallion depicting Guanyin, "red boy", dragon and phoenix. Above the 2 guardians, in the small medallion below, a flower basket. To the sides , below the neck:crane and deer. At the back, the main medallion is of flowers and swallows (one of the flower leaves is broken, and an old repair). The medallion below, depicting a flower. there are two more medallions, depicting a gourd and a scroll. The scepters are adorned with a characters of double happiness.
