A fine Chinese blue, white and copper red 'Master of the Rocks' brush pot, Kangxi Dia.: 19,5 - H.: 16,5 cm Provenance: A private collection in the province of Friesland, The Netherlands. It is very unusual to find blue and white brushpots in this style with added highlights of underglaze copper-red, however one example in the collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing, is illustrated by Chen Runmin, Qing Shunzhi Kangxi Chao Qinghuaci, Beijing, 2005, no. 222.
