钤印：溥儒之印、心畬翰墨 款识：癸未（1943年）五月，溥儒。 释文：履端。（意为事物的开始） 溥儒（1896-1963），字心畲，别号西山逸士，北京人，满族，清恭亲王之孙，著名书画家。1896年出生于北平，在“渡海三大家”中年龄最大。作为清皇室的贵裔，对他而言，那是一个家国充满苦难的时代，特殊的出身背景不免给予他一生有决定性的影响。溥氏自幼即受到传统严谨的礼教熏陶，个性内向好学，因而打下了深厚的学养基础，也使他背负了传承文化道统及国家情感的重大压力与使命感。
