题识：作屏仁兄善书画而极喜拙作，有时刻意临摹，见者惊服，顷久别重晤，袖其近作相质且谓仍摩拙笔不辍，仆闻之滋愧，昔山谷谓友人舍苏子瞻而学而书，未为得荣，今仆于作兄亦云：而学其书其字误而字。乙酉冬日符铁年并识于沪上晚静庐。|钤印：符铁年、铁年|▲||释文：休采古书探禹穴，遥看瀑布识天台。||作者简介：符铸，生于广东潮州，字铁年，号瓢厂，别署闲存居士、二观居士、铁道人，署其居室为脱静庐，近代书画家，能诗擅文。符翕子，幼承家学，少年便负书名。
