说明：摆件由刘海立像和金蟾两部分插装组合而成，作铜质。其中金蟾与北京市文物公司所藏“明·通蝉形水呈”（参见《北京文物精粹大系—工艺品卷（下）》，北京出版社，2003年，页121，图102）极为相似。作三足，由两只前足支撑于地，作昂首观望状，其眼眶宽阔，突眼有神，唇间设有小孔，空腹，背部设有一个大孔，以便分体的刘海插装组合。刘海作单足立姿状，其一手持有竹筒，一手紧握檀板，背负宝葫芦，面带笑容，左腿高抬，双赤足，似在踏歌而舞。其右足下设铜柱，可插入金蟾背部孔洞组合成器。整器色泽黝黑如漆，包浆浑实，为明代刘海鲜见的造型。参阅：《北京文物精粹大系—工艺品卷（下）》，北京出版社，2003年，页121图102.
