It is our ardent wish to consummate the peace process as speedily as possible. I know that you are with us in this historic effort." The Camp David Accords comprised two agreements: "A Framework for Peace in the Middle East," and "A Framework for the Conclusion of a Peace Treaty between Egypt and Israel." The second was a precursor to the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty signed in March 1979.
