HARRIET WHITNEY FRISHMUTH (American 1880-1980) "The Star" Bronze with brown patina. 18 7/8 x 8 x 4 1/2 inches. Inscribed HARRIET W. FRISHMUTH 1918 (on the base); stamped GORHAM CO. FOUNDERS Q505 #105 (along the back of the base). The Star was cast in an edition of 345 between 1920 and 1955. CONDITION: In overall good condition, some wear to the patina from cleaning over the years. Minor scratches throughout from being handled. All the fingers are in good condition and attached. No visible restoration or repair made to the bronze.
