A 20th century Portuguese silver hip flask, the rounded rectangular form with simply engraved floral panels to both sides, one side also with initials below, the removable lid with a bayonet style locking mechanism. Assay marks for Lisbon, 833 standard. Height 5 (13cm), gross weight 5.35 ozt (166.6 grams). Appears in good overall condition, displaying some general expected surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.Residues of dirt to some areas, to the base and also to the neck, seen when the lid is removed. Locking mechanism appears in good working order and the lid closes securely. Pierced liner to interior of lid, possibly base metal.Assay marks located to base and these are clear and legible.
