A pair of late 1930's silver sauce boats, each of circular bellied form with gadroon rim, acanthus capped scroll handle and raised on three stepped hoof feet. Hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., London 1939. Height to handle 3.75 (9.5cm), weight 11 ozt (345 grams). Both appear in good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Also some tarnishing and both would benefit from a clean and polish. Hallmarks located to underside and are clear and legible.
