Condition report: Oil on canvas which has been lined. The canvas tension is slightly slack and there are minor knock near the to of the canvas with small tears. The paint layer is has a general pattern of wear and abrasion overall. The sitter's features have been reinforced with retouching. The varnish is clear and even. There is a layer of surface dirt present and insect droppings across the painting. The frame is in a poor, unstable condition.
