The central rectangular letter box with brass LETTERS placard to top of angled, hinged lid, with glazed door under lock, and brass pull-out surface for writing notes. The back, with leather straps forming diamond patterns punctuated by decorative metal nail heads, to hold notes. None. England. Circa 1915. {Approximate dimensions: 18 high x 18 1/2 wide x 8 3/4 inches diameter.}. Condition: Good condition and with nice patina. One leather strap of the diamond-form design to backing broken in two. Almost certainly, the backing with straps is a later addition.
