1893年作 立轴 纸本 款识：前人用色有极沉厚者，有极淡逸者，其创制损益，出奇无方，不执定法。大抵秾丽之过，则风神不爽，气韵索然矣。惟能淡逸而不入于轻浮，沉厚而不流于郁滞，传染愈新，光晖愈古，乃为极致。《瓯香馆集》有此画论，客窗握管略师其意，未知心手相应否？癸巳季春，溧水濮维写为叔英仁兄大人正，诗孙何维朴。
