PAIR OF VASES in bronze and cloisonné enamels, decorated with four medallions on a midnight blue background formed by the character shou surrounded by the five bats (wufu), symbols of longevity, surrounded by flowers and lotus scrolls on a turquoise background. The neck is decorated with friezes of ruyi, flowers and foliage. The base bears the Taoist trigram of the sky among clouds.
