French Empire Brass & Porcelain Figural Mantle Clock with Silk Thread Suspension. Rectangular form, with figure of a modest woman seated upon a cylindrical clock before a window upon a rocky mount. Stepped above a shaped section inset with finely-painted porcelain plaque of fox in wooded landscape. The base with shell and scroll foot under swags.
