|说明：“湘妃竹”号称“斑竹一枝千滴泪”，既富文学传奇色彩又有特殊装饰性，是清代皇帝颇为喜爱的一种器具用材，据《造办处活计档·雍正十一年·木作》载：“传旨：里边又陈设湘妃竹波罗漆面炕案一张，此案款式甚好，着照样做几张。但湘妃竹难得，可用棕竹做。钦此。”可见雍正帝对湘妃竹的珍爱怜惜和湘妃竹在当时即已材料难得。此件茶柜取番妃竹为材，做工巧妙，古色古香。
