The whole of rectangular form, applied with figures of Mary and Jesus as Infant, the baby's figure over the cylindrical clock set, the whole atop a parquetry-inlaid wood base, under a glass dome. 'Lindau a' Mond' to the dial. 'L / 380' to the movement reverse. Partially rubbed mark to case reverse 'LR' in diamond, two 'H' to the case reverse, with 'H / K9' to the top section reverse. 19th century. {Approximate dimensions without the base and dome: 14 3/4 high x 11 1/2 wide x 5 1/4 inches deep.}. Condition: Lacking door for dial and movement. Some patina to the gilt metal. Some cracking to the wood base though it is very stable.
