Description

从现存的外销画实物来看，18世纪早期广州口岸的外销画主要为纸本绘画和彩色木版画。纸本绘画被西方人称作“悬挂纸画”（Painted Paper-Hangings），形式与中国传统立轴不同，既不经装裱，也不加边框、轴头。这种低廉的产品只要卷起来就可装箱出口。这些纸画的内容多是表现中国的自然景观、风土人情以及日常生活，特别是富裕家庭快乐闲适的生活。
《官吏人家生活图》描绘的是清朝官员闲时与家中女眷、儿童悠闲嬉戏的场景，院中水塘中盛开著荷花。画面采用了西方绘画中焦点透视的方法，半开的门，悬挂的灯都显示出西方
