Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Plate with a design of a Basket of Flowers, the border a design of prunus flowers on cracked ice, the reverse with a conch shell mark within double rings, all in underglaze blue. Diameter 8 3/8 inches (21.2 cm.). PROVENANCE: Acquired from Dogny Auction, Lausanne, Switzerland; to the private collection of a California Restaurateur. Age related wear, small glaze gaps from the original kiln firing to the blue border, very tiny glaze flakes along mouth edge with slight over-spray to edge line.
