Chinese Qing Dynasty Guanyao Porcelain Octofoil Vase with large black line crackle with unglazed shaped foot rim showing brown, with old Chinese storage box; together with a small guanyao Water Jar with golden brown crackle and a brown slip at the mouth. Height of vase 6 inches (15.2 cm.). Diameter of brush washer jar 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm.). PROVENANCE: Both from King Po Chai Antique Dealer, Upper Lascar Row, Hong Kong, 1965-1971; then by descent to the private collection of a California Restaurateur.
