Pair Chinese 19 Century Ruby Glazed Porcelain Bowls, the ruby color ending in a clean line before the mouth, the insides and recessed bases in clear glaze. Height 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm.) X diameter at mouth 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm.). PROVENANCE: Acquired at auction in Hong Kong in June 2002 for the private collection of a California Restaurateur. One bowl in good condition with light age related wear, the other with 1 hairline and 1 "Y" shaped hairline more visible inside than outside.
