BRONZE FIGURE OF TARA 19TH-20TH CENTURY ??????? ?? ????? cast seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base with right leg slightly extended to the lower front resting on a stemming small lotus, the left hand raised in tarjani mudra and the right lowered in varada mudra , both with a spray of lotus rising from both palms, wearing a dhoti and heavily adorned with beaded necklaces, a festoon-hung sash, armlets, large circular earrings and an elaborate tiara with five foliate points surrounding her high chignon, the base engraved with a crossed vajra (Dimensions: 37cm high) (Qty: 1) (37cm high) Footnote: Provenance: Private Scottish collection Condition report: End of the lotus stem to her left palm is missing.
