A sapphire, pearl and diamond set pendant necklace the circular mixed cut sapphire within a cluster of old brilliant-cut diamonds, surrounded by diamond-set trefoils and bouton pearls to a later fancy-link chain with four cultured pearl beads and stamped 'PLAT', with accompanying report from Gemmological Certification Services dated 16 January 2019, numbered 79190-66, stating the sapphire has no indications of heat treatment (Dimensions: Length of pendant: 37 mm, estimated total gem weights: sapphire 4.40cts, diamonds 1.75cts) (Length of pendant: 37 mm, estimated total gem weights: sapphire 4.40cts, diamonds 1.75cts) Condition report: Overall in good condition. The certifications states the sapphire is of Basaltic deposit origin. The pendant itself is apparently unmarked and was converted from a brooch.
