Chinese carved Yaozhou celadon-glazed truncated Meiping vase, the high-shouldered body is carved with two egrets on opposite sides, against a background of dense peony scroll, covered inside and out under an olive-green glaze, with the exception of the base revealing the russet green body, 6 1/2" H x 7 1/4" W.
