作者简介 恩斯特·柏石曼（Ernst Boerschmann，1873-1949），德国建筑师。1902年，柏石曼首次途经印度来到中国，被中国的建筑文化吸引，产生了考察中国古建筑想法。在当时德国政府支持下这一计划得以实现。1906-1909年柏石曼走遍中国12个省，行程数万里，拍下了数千张皇家建筑、宗教建筑和民居等照片。回国以后，他整理考察后的资料，出版了多部论述中国建筑的专着。
