A large 19th century mahogany Campaign style writing slope, of rectangular form with brass escutcheon and twin recessed handles concealing two drawers, the hinged cover with central personally engraved inset brass plaque opening to reveal a later green baize lined slope with compartments beneath, and a further five divisions, three with removable covers, 35.75 x 15 x 8 (91cm x 38cm x 20.5cm).
