A Victorian silver chatelaine, the shaped and pierced mount of tri-form, decorated with cherubs amidst scrolling foliate detail, supporting five cable chains and four associated accessories, comprising a small mother-of-pearl folding pen knife and a silver whistle, hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co, London 1889, a silver circular pin cushion, hallmarks worn and indistinct, and a silver vesta case with embossed foliate decoration, hallmarked George Unite, Birmingham 1890; the chatelaine hallmarked King & Son, London 1888.
