上等和田玉料精雕瑞狮作蹲卧势，雄浑威猛，侧首回望，双目圆瞪，眉髯抖擞，毛发与长尾相连，向上弯起于身侧，与狮首呼应。毛发以开丝手法雕饰，眉毛、须髯、兽尾，形态逼真，或飘逸或耷垂，丝丝缕缕，密而不乱，灵动自然。，皮壳亮丽厚实，沁色自然雅致，带子上朝瑞兽，身形健硕，骨肌清晰可触。雕琢刀法精致细腻，鲜活饱满，五官、鬃发、肌理、爪趾皆栩栩如生，瑞兽肢体语言表达清楚，着重突出神态与情趣，浑圆丰满，极为罕见。本品虽物远古神物，但其写实意味浓厚，由其神情造型、皮壳包浆、打磨工艺可推断为明代旧物，神物绝佳，颇为少见。
