烟壶呈长方形，瓶身四面均以矾红绘婴戏图，生动形象，活灵活现。全器画艺细腻流畅，纹饰繁缛华丽，主题吉利祥瑞，寓意连生贵子、五子登科、百子千孙，亦有祈福求安之意，代表了清乾隆时官窑瓷艺的最高水平，品相完美，可为珍贵陶瓷上婴戏图自宋代起步发展，北宋末画师苏汉臣擅绘佛像、人物，其中尤以童婴题材最获赞赏，北宋青白瓷器亦见刻花婴戏纹，纹饰至清中期代到达鼎峰，而婴童从简单的一、两个幼童到百多个，人物皆神态活泼，场面热闹。婴戏图反映了古往今来祈求人寿年丰，多子多福，望子成龙的美好愿望。
