珊瑚红是一种低温铁红釉，始于康熙，是将红釉吹在白釉之上，烧成后釉色均匀、光润，能与天然珊瑚媲美，故名“珊瑚红”，又称“盖血红”。碗型秀巧，胎釉结合紧密。碗内壁素白，外壁以珊瑚红地留白花绘簇竹纹。竹，清高而有节，开怀大度，人们常以竹之节寓气节之节。此碗层次分明，红白相映，艳丽美观。足内留“大清同治年制”六字楷书款。
