Biedermeier Fruitwood and Parcel Ebonized Four Drawer Commode Stepped rectangular top over four long drawers, flanked by ebonized columns with parcel gilt capitals and bases. First quarter 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 36 3/4 high x 44 1/4 wide x 23 1/4 inches deep.}. Condition: Loss to the surface finish, and some cracking to the top. Loss to veneer towards the base on the front side. Overall wear is good for the age.
