Discoloration consistent with age; visible crease on the left edge spanning vertically up the whole sheet. No visible areas of paper loss. Notes: Situated on the banks of Lake Maggiore, Ascona has been a favorite retreat for artists and spa-lovers. Working in a Broders-esque vein, Ernst gives us the city's sheltered harbor and Santa Maria della Misercordia church. This is the Dutch variant of the design.
