作者简介：梅曾亮（1786～1856），初名曾荫，字伯言，一字伯岘，号葛君，室名柏岘山房，江苏南京人。道光二年进士，以知县用，十四年改户部郎中。道光末年辞官，后主讲扬州、梅花书院。专力古文，绍桐城姚鼐之传，为桐城后期主要人物。
