Two 20th Century African Beaded Panel and Diviner's Bags (Apo Ifa). Glass beads, cotton, leather, bead embroidery. One decorated with three abstracted figures on the cover, with red tassel and orange cloth ground. The other with a beaded asymmetrical geometric design. {Approximate dimensions: 15 1/2 high x 18 inches wide, 31 high x 16 inches wide.}. Deaccessioned from the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Condition: Fraying to cloth and loss to the tassel on the first bag. The second with applied velcro to the back, loss to the tassel.
