款识：胡文明作 “炉瓶三事”多见于文人雅士几案，为焚香器具。此香瓶即三事之一，常作铜箸、铜铲放置之用。瓶以精铜制成，口沿外侧饰回纹一周，颈部鱼子纹为地，饰缠枝卷草，腹刻兰草、灵芝、翠竹三清于龟背锦纹上，寓意清雅高洁。浮雕纹饰以鎏金加饰，华彩异常，不可多得。底款篆文“胡文明作”。胡文明，明万历年间云间（今上海）人，铸铜工艺名匠，据《云间杂志》载：胡氏“按古式制彝鼎尊卣之属极精，价亦甚高，誓不传他姓。时礼帖称‘胡炉’，后亦珍之。”所制铜炉表面多装饰山水、花卉、八宝、瑞兽等图案，并于其上鎏金，与当时喜好素雅铜炉的风格迥异。传世的胡文明制器式样亦以铜炉较为多见，其它品种较少。来源：国营文物商店旧藏重:363.4g 款识：胡文明作
