姚茫父，原名华，字重光，别署莲花龛主，贵州贵筑人。茫父与张樾臣为至交，并常合作铜件，由茫父作画，樾臣镌刻。合作器上一般署茫父款；而其自刻作品，则落款姚华。 钤印：姚铭文：“万户之印。元百官志：太祖起自朔土，统有其众，部落野处，非有城郭之制，国俗淳厚，非有庶事之烦，惟以万户统军旅。见金石考。”“永兴军节度使之印。见古帖考，《金史》：京兆府，上。宋京兆郡永兴军节度使。皇统二年置总管府，此印金时从第三品。茫父。”
