|整器只见一对比翼鸳鸯，羽翼丰润，神色缠绵，惟妙惟肖。“鸳鸯”是古代作品中的常见题材，可比作手足抑或是夫妻，如南朝梁萧统编着的《文选》中即有“昔为鸳和鸯，今为参与商”的诗句以比作兄弟情；唐代诗人卢照邻《长安古意》中有诗云:“愿做鸳鸯不羡仙”，以比作夫妻情深，同类题材作品不胜枚举。故若以此器做书房陈设，寓意之美好，可谓妙哉。
