此炉整体作四方造型，圆口唇沿，平口外侈，短颈下收，肩部凸起圆环状弦纹一周，溜肩直壁，肩两侧对饰铺首衔环耳，神秘威严，古意悠悠，腹部前后雕铸瑞兽回首前行，威风凛凛，鲜活灵动，颇具动感。平底转折明朗，下承四戈足外撇。整器形体古雅怡人，装饰手法老练，别具一格，器表包浆厚重，显蟹青色泽，其方正的器身衬之以圆形口沿，暗寓天圆地方之意。
