说明：《大闹天宫》是中国历史上第一部彩色动画长片，由上海美术电影制片厂制作。动画片中的人物形象最初的设计者就是被称为现代中国装饰艺术奠基者之一的张光宇。张光宇设计的每一个人物形象都独特个性，但同时充满中国艺术文化的元素。他的设计从色彩到线条都有中西合璧之感，但又忠实于《西游记》，符合原著中人物该有的气质。可参考《<大闹天宫>动画片造型设计》，上海人民美术出版社，1980年。
