提要：拍品为昙无谶译《大般涅盘经》卷第三之《金刚身品第二》《名字功德品第三》，乌丝栏界，行十七字，存八纸。楷书中略带行书意味，笔锋硬朗。纸质粗厚，背部无托衬。纸背接缝处钤有“谌席珍”藏印。
《大般涅盘经》主要阐述佛身常住不灭，涅盘常乐我净，一切众生悉有佛性，一阐提和声闻、辟支佛均得成佛等大乘佛教思想。此经传入中国后，影响甚大。
