杨竹民（1916-1990）：原名杨作铭，祖籍山西介休，抗战时期迁居重庆南岸。年轻时的杨竹民与北京京华美术学院同门师兄董寿平受教于周怀民诸名家门下，擅长写意花卉、山水、书法篆刻等。曾任重庆市美协会员、重庆市文史研究馆馆员、重庆涂山书画社副社长、南岸区一、二、三届政协委员。
