A twentieth century cased set of sauce boat and stand, each plain with scalloped rim and the sauce boat raised on three pad feet, together with a matching ladle, all contained in fitted box. Hallmarked Viner's Ltd., Sheffield 1938 or 1963. Length of stand 5 7/8 inches (15 cm), weight 8.49 ozt (264 grams). Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor surface nicks and heavier contact marks and scratches visible to the centre of the tray and also interior of sauce boat. Hallmarks clear and legible.General wear, fading and disolouration to case with minor losses/tears to exterior.
