A modern silver Arts & Crafts style spoon by the Guild of Handicraft, the planished fig shape bowl with rat-tail reverse and a slightly tapering stem to a reeded ball finial set with a green cabochon. Hallmarked London 1997. Length 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm), gross weight 1.35 ozt (42.2 grams). Appears in good overall condition, displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. Some minor edge nicks and scuffs around the rim of the bowl and feels a little rough to touch in places.Hallmarks clear and legible, slight rubbing along bottom edge of maker's mark.
