A pair of 1930's silver candlesticks, each with stepped and filled square base having beaded border detail and rising to a plain hexagonal-sided stem and Corinthian style capital with removable beaded nozzle. Hallmarked A Taitelbaum & Son, London 1931. Height 12 inches (30.5 cm). Both candlesticks displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.Many little surface nicks and dints, particularly visible to the stepped bases where some splits, cracks and small holes are starting to appear, especially at the corners.One nozzle appears jammed in position. Hallmarks rubbed with a couple of punches not legible.
