A selection of small silver items to include a 1930's twin-handled tea strainer on circular footed bowl, hallmarked William Suckling Ltd., Birmingham 1938, a rounded triangular form dish, hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1965, a Britannia silver shaped square dish, London 1953, a small sauce boat, Birmingham probably 1923, a goblet, a filigree ashtray, etc. Gross weight 20.18 ozt (627.6 grams). Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches, with heavier damage to some pieces. Heavy tarnishing throughout and all items would benefit from a clean and polish. Goblet appears to have traces of older hallmarks in addition to the more modern hallmarks. Filigree ashtray appears unmarked but tests as 96% silver. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.Lot also contains a circular unmarked dish. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and due to the amount of items in this lot we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
