A Lincoln Cathedral commemorative silver miniature chalice, the plain bowl of circular form upon knopped stem to a circular spread foot engraved 'Lincoln Cathedral 1072-1972', hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1972, numbered beneath 1959, height 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), in original box with certificate. Together with a further example of the same chalice, cased without certificate or limited edition number plus a silver commemorative goblet for St. Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, boxed with certificate, both hallmarked Birmingham 1971, same maker. Weight 19.43 ozt (604. 2 grams). (3). The second Lincoln chalice and the goblet are heavily tarnished throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish.Otherwise all three pieces appear in good overall condition, displaying some light surface wear, marks and scratches. Hallmarks are all clear and legible.
