A pair of late Victorian silver sugar tongs and matching mustard spoon, in King's pattern with shell heel to bowls, hallmarked John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, London 1891, weight 2.79 ozt (87 grams). Together with a silver mounted horn spoon and a further spoon with coin bowl and carved wood elephant finial. (4). All displaying some tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use.Sugar tongs and mustard spoon appear in good overall condition. A few nicks around bowls and other edges. Some rubbing to shell heels. Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's mark to spoon worn around edges. Silver finial to horn spoon marked 925. Pitted appearance. Coin spoon with signs of repair at joins of stem to bowl and to handle.
