Two Edwardian silver mounted small photograph frames, the first of circular scrolled outline and easel back, hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd., Birmingham 1901, maximum diameter 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), the second of shaped oval form with scroll surmount, set with moonstone cabochons, in double hinged fitted case with easel back, hallmarked London 1907, height 4 inches (10 cm). (2). Both frames heavily tarnished throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish. Both fairly tired in appearance displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and a few dints and bumps. Circular frame - A few dints and bumps around the outside of the mount and lifting in several places. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible. Easel back very worn with some losses and tears. Oval frame - Almost black with tarnish. Edge folding over in several places. Some visible repairs. Missing one fixing pin. Hallmarks ok, maker's mark a little distorted, possibly 'G.E.S' for George Elisha Sumner. Velvet back a little faded. Case interior and exterior in fairly worn state with some fading and small losses.
