释文：扬雄《蜀都》、左太冲《三都》，殊为不备。悉彼故为多奇，益令其游目意足也。可得果，当告卿求迎，少人足耳。宋曹，字彬臣，号射陵，又号耕海潜夫。明末清初大书法家，著有《书法约言》。其书法取法晋唐，二王的阁帖是宋曹终生的临摹对象。所钤“射陵宋曹”印左上角没有缺口，可见于乙丑年（1685）对联“友谊山缘千里少，酒狂诗放一枝偏”；所钤“射陵宋曹”印左上角有缺口的，最早可见于丁卯年（1687）宋曹临古帖卷。藏于上海市博物馆。可见本立轴当作于1687年之前。
