此尊水月观音呈男相，菩萨宝冠之上端坐化佛，为其形象重要标志。面相丰润，眉间饰有白毫，双目垂视，形象慈和。上身躯体袒露，带有花朵组成的项链，帔帛自两肩之后绕臂而下，飘带随性地卷在腕上，曲线婉转优美，充分表现出观音修证深广，观照众生，自在无碍的宗教特性。下身着宽松飘逸长裙，左腿盘起，右腿自然外展，姿态自然闲适。整像铜质精良，做工细腻，人物刻画生动自然，是一尊极具内地造像艺术特色的佛像艺术精品。参阅：慈悲妙相─首都博物馆典藏 中国古代观音菩萨造像展，在这个展览里展出过，清代（18世纪）的观音造像
